Royal Mail Strike Action

Anvil Tool Company - Deliveries during the Royal Mail Strike

Many customers will be aware that the Communications Workers Union has announced two further days of strike action due to take place on Friday 6th and Monday 9th of November 2009. During this time most mail services will be affected.

At the Anvil Tool Company we shall be working very hard to minimise the impact on our customers deliveries and will aim to use Fed-Ex as an alternative carrier wherever possible during this period.

Regrettably this may not always be possible due to weight, cost or location restrictions and some deliveries may still have to be sent via Royal Mail.
Please note that these deliveries may take 2-3 days longer than normal.

Should you require a delivery to be made offshore or to the Highlands and you want it sent via a courier rather than Royal Mail, please contact us for a carriage calculation.

Should you have any concerns regarding deliveries, please contact us and we will be happy to advise.
